kindness and generosity

Kindness and generosity

There is a difference between kindness and generosity.
To be kind is to show evidence of an understanding. An understanding for the weaknesses of a fellow man but yet serve him purposefully still.
To be generous is to give from plenty.
They both earn their reward. A reward generosity cannot gain but kindness earns without preclusion is closeness to what is true.

And what is true?

It is true that man’s ruling intellect fetters him from journeying to consciousness.
If this is not so, then why in the mind of a ruthless thinker does generosity replace kindness? As kindness is perceived as a weakness of leniency and generosity is estimated power of influence?

It is true that man’s inhumanity to man is as abhorrent but prevalent as ever even though religion is cultivated substantially in the minds of almost all nations.

Bare this picture with me please; ‘ A nation suffers in hunger while it’s leader plunders the wealth of its resources. The more affluent look down with worrisome pity and send aide in food and the people eat for the day. They are generous. Hunger and deprivation breeds madness and madness breeds violence, the more affluent yet again send aide in “peace keepers’ force”. Fifteen peace keeping soldiers rape a young girl to death. The affluent pretend not to see this, it is not their daughter besides rape is not uncommon is such places as more than half of the females both children and adults are victims anyway. These victims are not necessarily considered as real human beings. The affluent secretly enjoy the shrewdness of the leader but condemn him publicly to show pretentious intolerance to the dictator. Let it be known that the affluent need to sustain the madness in that nation because they make profit supplying weapons. The more they fuel the violence, the hungrier the people become and the affluent from the abundance of their purse send grains of rice thrown down from helicopters. ‘

A boy is forced to drink cement and sand mixture because he stole a loaf of bread?
A police man beats a vehicle driver to death for refusing to pay a dollar worth of change bribe? Many have died for less.
An elderly woman hurls up as much mucus from her throat and spits it in the face of another woman for her different skin color?
A young man is clobbered to death with beer bottles by a street gang for being at the wrong place at the wrong time?

The atrocities are endless but we close our cowardly eyes and claim selective deafness and thank heavens, “rather them not me,” with prayers. Then we send money or old clothes on festive occasions to corroborate our moral obligations to our so called faith? How generous we must be.

Yet man remains desperately wicked to his fellow man!
Why?
Because he does not know!
NOT TO KNOW IS A CRIME!!!
Humanity suffers simply because it remains indolent.

If man can understand that by giving consideration to those persons around him while he exerts his free will, his journey to ascension in great heights will have far less obstacles. The message is simple; love your neighbor as yourself!

In all thy getting, beget understanding!
